Sustainability Master Data and Analytics Lead
CONTEXT
Fast evolving regulatory requirements and increasing business pressure on sustainability (customers, consumers) generate globally for Coty the need for more complete and qualitative master data sets. This translates into requirements for more robust internal data flows (simplification, standardization, automation) and optimized collaboration with suppliers on data exchanges (systematization if not digitalization of data collection).
OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
The role of Sustainability Master Data and Analytics Lead will ensure that the master data needed for Coty's regulatory and sustainability uses cases is available with a high level of data quality and with the right governance processes, from the data reported back to the individual data points collected from our suppliers.
This position requires occasional travels within Europe.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main focus will be as follows:
Identify, formalize & prioritize master data needed based on regulatory & sustainability requirements shared by the appropriate teams (Sustainability office, R&D, procurement). Identify, qualify & confirm gaps in internal & external data flows with the relevant functional stakeholders in Coty. Establish the appropriate actions to address gaps identified, in alignment with the priorities agreed. Serve as the Go-To person for any master data required for regulatory & sustainability reasons. Ensure Master data required is available for the identified regulatory & sustainability uses cases. Establish an end state vision of systematic & digital data flows where touches are the exception by working with relevant IT and functional leaders. Participate actively in elaborating a strategy and downstream capabilities on supplier data collection, so as to standardize, simplify and digitalize data flows from our suppliers. Establish Coty's core regulatory & sustainability master data analytics capability.

You will be working in a global cross functional team of 5 permanent members, with close interactions with several departments such as the sustainability office, R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain and IT. While complying with our core data governance processes, you will have full autonomy to establish data quality and governance processes across functions when related to data needed for sustainability and regulatory purposes. You will use your leadership, presentation skills and ability to translate complex data topics into simple & easy to understand and decide on presentations.

When it comes to you:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university 5 to 10+ years of experience in Master Data, either through direct master data roles or in a functional role with strong exposure to data - which allows you to have a deep understandinf data from a process & organization standpoint An exposure to suppliers in one of your previous roles is a real plus, in order to design processes & solutions that fit the reality of operations with our suppliers Hands-on in working with master data and working with diverse & wide data sets Able to present in a simple and efficient manner complex issues with a lot of data behind (structured & summarized presentations) - tell a story through data Master the English language on a professional level (written & oral communication)
