  Summary:

  The Marketing Strategic Partner works with marketing and business stakeholders to develop and implement marketing strategies and plans for global marketing campaigns and programs. They do this to advance the Revenue, Relationship and Reputation goals of the company, by ensuring effective analysis, planning, development, implementation, measurement, and reporting for the assigned programs.

  Amongst other programs, this position will hold a primary responsibility for forwarding FM Global’s aims in the sports sponsorship arena. We have an existing 5-year relationship with the LPGA, and are looking to maximize the investment, and potentially enter into other similar investments. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a sponsorship program that activates our employees across the globe, delights our clients, positively contributes to our communities, and to our positive results as a company.

  Schedule and Location:

  This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Johnston, RI. Domestic and international travel is required 20-30% throughout the year. This is a full-time office-based position.

  Responsibilities:

  Build relationships with Marketing, Client Service, Sales, and Operations peers within and outside FM Global to ensure collaborative marketing strategies and the best use of resources to achieve desired results.

  Lead development and oversee execution of marketing strategy, plans, and campaigns, with an emphasis on sports marketing and sponsorship activation.

  Ensure all work is done within agreed-to marketing practices and procedures, and in alignment with the brand positioning, compliance and personalized as appropriate.

  Provide consultative marketing and communications guidance to enable new business development, retention of clients, top notch client experiences and risk improvement.

  Create and coordinate execution of omnichannel marketing roadmaps (enablement, PR, advertising, multimedia, viral, interactive/web, direct mail, events, exhibits, etc.) aligned to audience journeys and ABM plans, working closely with Marketing, Sales, and Client Service and other internal and external colleagues.

  Contribute to management of agency and vendor relationships for the assigned programs.

  Serve as resource by advising on localization issues, ensuring appropriate campaigns are present in key accounts and markets, addressing local marketing issues as they arise.

  Follow established processes to optimize the effectiveness, efficiency, creativity, agility and quality of programs and tools designed for the market and client-facing teams.

  Monitor metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs; track, analyze, and report on results to optimize impact.

  Exhibit the leadership, skill, and ability to influence and drive alignment of marketing activities to ensure message consistency and best-in-class client experience.

  Develop a good understanding of client and partner needs and the Client Service and Sales processes to ensure the needs of the business are addressed.

  Ensure projects stay within established budgets and meet objectives.

  Other projects as assigned will be handled within appropriate corporate guidelines and in collaboration with marketing and communications peers as well as business unit sponsors.

  Qualifications:

  Required Education:

  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or BusinessRequired Work Experience:

  5+ years of marketing experience is required, with an emphasis on sports marketing or sponsorship activation in a corporate and/or agency setting.Highly Preferred Work Experience:

  8-10 years of increasingly responsible positions in a corporate and/or agency setting.

  Experience using groundbreaking media; digital marketing savvy.

  Global experience in a corporate environment.

  Required Skills:

  Understands the business objectives of assigned campaigns and knows which marketing plans and tactics will support achieving the objectives at a global and regional level.

  Apply knowledge of marketing to decide how best to prioritize plans and campaigns to achieve Corporate and Operations objectives.

  Good knowledge of marketing tools, tactics, and techniques in general.

  Solid understanding of the business priorities of FM Global and its various business units.

  Demonstrated ability to develop, deliver and run global and locale integrated marketing plans with detailed objectives and proven ROI.

  Consistent track record of delivery to tight budgets and deadlines.

  Excellent communication and creative thinking skills.

  Demonstrated project management skills.

  Strong interpersonal skills-demonstrated teamwork skills.

  Customer focused.

  B2B experience.

  Highly Preferred Skills:

  The hiring range for this position is $114,300-$164,200 annually. The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience. The position is eligible to participate in FM Global’s comprehensive Total Rewards program that includes an incentive plan, generous health and well-being programs, a 401(k) and pension plan, career development opportunities, tuition reimbursement, flexible work, time off allowances and much more.
