About The Team
1GBM EUI are the Global Business Marketing team (GBM) and champions TikTok in the B2B world, looking to educate, inspire and create opportunities for our sales teams to develop and foster key client relationships and demonstrate how TikTok can deliver better outcomes for their business.
B2B Marketing team develops events, engagement platforms, strategic narratives, marketing communications and strategic industry relations that amplify the TikTok brand and scale our voice. Build our brand and reputation in the industry to drive business growth.
About the Role
TikTok are searching for an experienced strategist to lead the UK & Ireland Marketing Solutions team, reporting into the UKI & Nordics B2B Marketing Lead.
The team guides the company's point of view in the UK and focuses on delivering engaging narratives that inform and inspire clients, agencies and the industry with the opportunity TikTok brings. The team works closely with cross-functional partners across the business - Marketing Science, Product Strategy and Operations, Monetisation Strategy and Operations, Sales and Comms - to define positioning that outlines TikTok's point of view on the topics that matter most to marketers, to enable clients to activate and scale on the platform.
As a result, we are looking for a high-performing leader, who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys defining industry-wide messaging, and scaling within integrated marketing channels. We are also looking for someone who has notable experience in performance marketing, who can help to develop positioning and guidance to performance marketers as a focus audience for the UK business. This person should feel comfortable speaking to issues facing this audience, and help to coordinate and develop materials that enable our sales teams and the industry to further unlock and enable performance auction spend on the platform.
You should be comfortable with a broad range of responsibilities, developing and executing content marketing end-to-end including identifying target segments, proposing and developing messaging, establishing tracking mechanisms, and reporting and iterating on results.
The ideal candidate should have clear and demonstrative experience in leading content marketing projects, defining and developing messaging, with hands-on experience aligning and working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver projects on time. Responsibilities
- Produce inspirational and educational narratives, to be delivered across a range of marketing channels, segmented audiences and industry verticals.
- Help generate strategies and thought-leadership for priority verticals and client planning.
- Read and summarise reports, market intelligence and category insights to help team build vertical narratives.
- Create marketing leading, insight and product based content marketing assets with the team, such as playbooks, keynotes, blogs and case studies for owned marketing channels.
- Partner with sales for content and delivery of strategic, priority client workshops
- Manage core cross-functional relationships and working groups to devise GTM plans and new processes that lead us to useful data insights, proof-points and best-practice recommendations.
- Analyse and read between the lines of data from a variety of sources (internal and third-party) to inform and validate platform, vertical and client messaging.
- Collaborate with wider B2B Marketing teams to produce content for channels, including activation managers within the local B2B Marketing team.
- Manage a small but mighty Marketing Solutions team to develop and build a roadmap of activity with clear deliverables to support strategic pillars of the UK commercial strategy.
- Support the UKI and Nordic Marketing Lead in providing recommendations and implementing improvements to team processes and cross-functional ways of working.
Qualifications
- Relevant, impactful experience in a managerial marketing role.
- Have strong experience navigating the digital media landscape, particularly in performance marketing.
- Have strong knowledge of the UK advertising industry, particularly in performance marketing.
- Be a strong strategist, able to communicate both inspirational messages (thought-leadership) and practical, activational strategies.
- Thrives in a fast paced, rapidly evolving company.
