Position Summary: As the Marketing Operations Manager, Senior. – Process Innovation, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of our marketing operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, implement innovative tools and technologies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance creativity with a keen analytical mindset to optimize our marketing processes and maximize ROI.
This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.
Responsibilities:
Process Optimization:o Assess and analyze existing marketing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
o Design and implement streamlined workflows across Marketing and other enterprise platforms to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of optimized processes.
Technology Implementation:o Evaluate and recommend marketing technology solutions to enhance operational capabilities.
o Collaborate with teams across PNC managing MarTech platforms and capabilities to ensure prioritization and implementation of key Marketing initiatives.
o Provide training and support to the marketing team on new tools and technologies.
Data-Driven Decision Making:o Develop and implement data-driven strategies to measure and analyze marketing operations performance.
o Utilize analytics to identify trends, enhance and streamline processes, and make strategic recommendations.
o Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:o Work closely with marketing, product, and tech teams to ensure alignment of processes.
o Collaborate with tech, finance, and other relevant teams to integrate systems and data sources.
o Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the marketing organization.
Innovation Leadership:o Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in marketing operations.
o Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and present recommendations to leadership.
o Drive a culture of innovation within the marketing operations team.
Risk Management:o Work closely with Risk line of defense partners to mitigate risks and identify opportunities to implement and automate controls.
o Assess process breakdowns to prioritize improvement and innovation opportunities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ Years of Financial Services / Marketing Operations experience
• 5+ years of prior management experience is typically required.
• Proven experience in marketing operations, process improvement, and technology implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and other relevant technologies.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience presenting findings to executive leadership.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership in driving process innovation and continuous improvement.
Job Description
Leads the strategy and team that executes and implements integrated, multi-channel, strategic marketing plans for one or more products/initiatives/channels. Formulatesplans that acquire grow, and retain customers in support of the product life cycle and line of business goals and objectives.
Leads a team to define and drive alignment on business and marketing objectives, develop value propositions and target segments leveraging competitive intelligence and insights to drive growth strategies.Contributes thought leadership to build consensus among partners.Ensures team adapts to and optimizes for a changing business environment.
Leads team to translate desired business outcomes into marketing strategy and execute complex, integrated marketing programs/ initiatives that may include advertising, sales content and internal communications. Leads and influences complex multi-functional program teams. Ensures data collected is synthesized and leveraged effectively to provide appropriate business intelligence.
Influences the budget while ensuring all operating activities are optimized and delivered within the established budget framework. Establishes the budget and has the capability to apply policies and practices for planning and administering a budget. Manages activities including coordination with legal, compliance, finance, risk and other key partners.
Responsible for performance management, continuous coaching and development of employees to ensure that they can achieve business results and adapt to evolving business marketing strategies and financial industry changes.

Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
