The HCP Marketing Manager will help lead peer to peer promotional content and delivery within the Rheumatology portfolio of products and indications. They will create content that is consistent with the Brand messaging, and on strategy to meet business objectives. They will manage existing content and make decisions to update and retire existing content to ensure the library of content is on strategy. They will optimize and innovate on the delivery of peer to peer promotion to ensure the right customers attend peer to peer promotional programs to maximize ROI.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing role to support Rheumatology peer to peer promotional efforts
Responsible for creating content that is consistent with the Brand story and Brand messaging
Be familiar with market research and customer insights that could improve or impact peer to peer promotion
Partner closely with Brand team leaders to ensure peer to peer promotion is launched timely in conjunction with any changes in messaging, or strategy
Consistently monitor the peer to peer library and ensure content is current and on message/strategy
Partner with medical affairs, and the regional marketing managers when building new content to ensure external experts are consulting to ensure new content is medically accurate and relevant for the customers.
Partner closely with the RMMs in HCP marketing to ensure the speaker’s bureau is optimized and trained appropriately for content launches
Strong collaboration and communication with the regional marketing managers, Brand teams, and field sales leadership (SDs, and RSDs) to ensure alignment on goals, budgets, strategies and execution of peer to peer.
Create reports to monitor achievement of execution goals and offer solutions to improve any gaps in execution.

Manage the budget for the HCP Ad agency (Avant)
Lead annual tactical plan with HCP ad agency to optimize innovation in the peer to peer channel
POC for peer to peer logistics agency (MEI)
Appropriately allocating spend for execution of P2P programs
Ensure proper resources are distributed to the sales force for execution of peer to peer programs
Work with Sales Director to reallocate and optimize funds across regions to maximize ROI
ACCOUNTABILITY / SCOPE:
Reporting to the Marketing Director
Execution of Goal Plan, AbbVie Ways of Working with associated Leadership Attributes
Travel up to 20% of the time. Position based at Abbvie HQ/Mettawa, IL.
5+ years of sales, sales management, or marketing/agency experience with at least 2 years in pharmaceutical
Experience with HCP related activities required. Knowledge of marketing concepts within strategic planning process preferred.
Efficient project management and communication capabilities along with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Strong collaboration and team orientation, with experience accomplishing results through others and influencing others.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree. MBA preferred.
Previous Immunology Sales/Marketing experience preferred.
