About the role:
The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Vice President, Marketing and Communications to develop and implement marketing initiatives across the enterprise. The person will need an in-depth knowledge of the market segments, sales channels, and products, as well as strong marketing background with demonstrated ability to create and execute marketing campaigns that support sales growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create and execute marketing campaigns spanning marketing collateral, sales support materials, training materials, communications, social media, and events.
Work closely with sales teams, marketing, and creative staff to develop the strategy and execute marketing plans.
Manage and collaborate with outside vendors.
Monitor current campaigns, ensuring deadlines are met and necessary tasks completed.
Oversee all marketing campaigns for each sales channel promoting that channel products.
Analyze data to evaluate the success of the marketing efforts and come up with new ideas to improve brand marketing and exposure.
Ensure marketing plans adhere to branding and messaging standards.
Represent the marketing team in cross-functional groups including product management, sales, and customer support.
What we are seeking:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
4-6 years of marketing experience; association and/or insurance experience is valuable
Experience working with Salesforce
Ability to work effectively with InDesign
Strong project management and organizational skills
Proven analytical skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to take initiative, be a self-starter, and lead task management
Ability to think creatively and innovatively
Budget-management skills and proficiency
Professional judgment and discretion
Product knowledge, including the ability to learn and stay up to date on changes to products and compliance requirements.
