Job Summary:

At Red Hat, our interns are an integral part of the team. They don’t get relegated to busywork or unimportant tasks, but participate in the day-to-day work and are active contributors to their team.

We are currently looking for Marketing interns to join us in Brno. You will work closely with a senior mentor to gain technical knowledge and experience in your field, and cooperate with a broader international team both locally and globally. You can expect challenging and engaging real-world projects where you gain an understanding of each stage of the marketing funnel. You’ll have the opportunity to learn sales messaging techniques, develop a knowledge of the Red Hat portfolio and gain broad experience in various aspects of marketing, data intelligence, lead development and sales.

Paid 12-month internship with possible extension to 24 months in total.

Flexible working hours, on average 20 hours/week

Start date on February 1st

Job Responsibilities:

Collate and analyze organizational data in order to build account intelligence and profiling, using various online tools and platforms

Assist account managers and partners in building an understanding of these organizations from a firmographic and behavioral perspective (e.g., revenues, propensity, online behaviors, etc.) to enable them to expand our footprint into these accounts

Monitor social media for trending topics around specific organizations and amalgamate these learnings into the organizational profiling

Participate in presenting results and progress reports to key stakeholders in both marketing and sales

Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends

Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative ABM marketing campaigns with the account leads.

Collaborate with marketing/sales and other professionals to coordinate next actions brand awareness and marketing efforts

Required Skills:

Must be currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor's degree or in a Master's degree in an accredited university program in the Czech Republic during the full duration of the internship

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets, demonstrating analytical and problem solving skills

Keen to learn to new skills with a solid work ethic and keen eye for detail

Logical thinker with a process oriented approach to tasks

Good listening skills and not afraid to ask questions

Friendly manner; ability to collaborate

Knowledge of French, Italian, or German is a plus.
