Which specific teams or departments will the intern be supporting during their tenure?
The intern will support multiple departments, including Communications, Program and Culture, and Sales Enablement. They will collaborate across these teams to assist in event planning, employee marketing of incentives, and supporting employee engagement marketing initiatives.
What is the primary objective or goal for bringing an intern onto your team for the summer?
Influx of summer work and preparation for the fall (our business's time of the year) : The primary goal of bringing an intern onto our team for the summer is to leverage their skills and energy to manage the increased workload during this period. Specifically, the focus will be on event planning, enhancing employee marketing initiatives, and creating engaging content to market events such as the Fall Pro Meetings, Safety Month, Pride Month, The Madness Competition, Summer Games Competition, Charity Week, Women in Field, FO Recognition program, and more for Field Ops. Additionally, they will assist in planning for the Cup and our fall meetings/events throughout the field.
Summary:
The intern will contribute to various tasks and projects, including:
· Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of Field Ops events.
· Supporting the development and promotion of employee incentive / Competition programs (Summer Games, The Cup, Referral Milestone program).
· Creating engaging content to market and promote internal comms focuses such as Safety Month, Pride Month, Charity Week, Women in Field, and other employee engagement initiatives.
· Collaborating with different departments to ensure cohesive communication strategies for internal events and incentive programs.
· Conducting research and analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improving internal marketing efforts.
· Assisting in planning for the Cup competition (biggest comp of the year for Field Service) and fall pro and leader meetings across the field.

The intern's role will significantly contribute to enhancing our company culture and employee engagement by not only assisting in event planning and marketing but also by creating compelling content that resonates with employees during various engagement initiatives. Their efforts will directly impact employee morale, motivation, and participation in various programs, aligning with the broader organizational goals of fostering a positive work environment and increasing employee satisfaction. They will also work on marketing some of our revenue competition leading to a direct revenue production impact if successful.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
