Overview
We're looking for a self-starter marketing intern to join our Marketing and Communications team responsible for launching IP industry events, frequent communications to internal and external stakeholders, and other impactful engagement plans. Above all, your work will elevate how Via LA creates a collaborative patent licensing ecosystem to further accelerate technology adoption across various devices and categories.
What you will work on: Partner with the Marketing, Communications, and Operations team to develop and operationalize priority initiatives for industry conferences and licensing program events. Support web development and marketing initiatives for Via LA hosted IP industry summits and other company webpage updates. Analyze opportunities for go to market plans and support licensing program stakeholders. Develop action plans alongside team for internal and external marketing communication strategies.

ELIGIBILITY
Working towards an undergrad degree or MBA; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Must be available to work full-time Monday - Friday for 6 months between May/June 2024 - December 2024. Required in-office days in the Via LA San Francisco office are currently Tuesday and Thursday, while most other weekdays are remote unless events require in-person attendance.
Start date for the internship is as follows: (note these dates are not flexible) Monday, May 20, 2024 Monday, June 3, 2024 Monday, June 17, 2024 The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $29-40/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
