Marketing Campaign Capabilities Manager
The Business Card and Payments Marketing Campaign Capabilities Team’s mission is to be a catalyst enabling business teams to achieve their goals through the use of new marketing capabilities, supported by well managed delivery processes. This exciting role will continue our scaled adoption of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform and relevant internal/3rd party integrations. This individual will be responsible for managing a small team of matrixed performers to assess new marketing use cases, partnering on any technical requirements development and changes necessary to support integration into our ‘business as usual’ campaign delivery process.
A priority for Business Cards and Payments is to foster a perpetual environment of experimentation and learning. This manager should expect to support consultation between business teams and delivery partners to incorporate standard Salesforce Marketing Cloud journey functionality to support low cost, high frequency testing. As more sophisticated, personalization and generative AI testing needs are identified, this individual will be a key resource to research and share recommendations for exploration.
Our Business Card and Payments project manager will be an active participant in the broader Capital One marketing capabilities conversation and community. With multiple teams delivering upon marketing within Capital One, this manager will be in a position to share our capability wins and losses. With active development of marketing technology and processes throughout the Capital One enterprise, it is also key for this individual to understand if and when this development may aid in the Business Cards and Payments agenda. This individual will also engage the community, as needed, to help identify and resolve common marketing capability challenges, including outage support.
Specific Responsibilities:
Manage a team of up to two individuals supporting Salesforce Marketing Cloud process, platform health and testing coordination
Develop, document and drive internal marketing campaign capabilities roadmap
Partner with the business teams on emerging intent planning
Consult with delivery teams to plan for scaling of Business As Usual campaign programs through use of existing and new marketing capabilities
Identify intent and execution breakdowns and assist in necessary recovery efforts
Develop and maintain capability controls and monitoring plans
Characteristics we’re looking for:

Basic Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree or Military experience
At least 2 years of Process or Project Management experience
At least 2 years experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator Certification
2+ years experience in Customer Acquisitions or Management activities
3+ years of Process and Project Management experience
3+ years experience in process engineering, design, development, and deployment
2+ years of Risk Management experience
BPM, Lean, PMP Certifications

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $147,800 - $168,700 for Manager, Project Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
