Description
Robert Half is partnering with a non-profit in the Charleston, SC area in search of a Marketing Assistant. This non-profit is passionate about making a positive difference in the community and is seeking a motivated and organized individual to join their team.
Position Overview:
As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting their marketing and events teams. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating events, managing meeting schedules, and ensuring all rentals are prepared for each event. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating new profiles for clients and events within their database. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and execute various events hosted by the organization.
Work closely with the events team to schedule meetings and ensure all rentals are prepared for each event.
Create and maintain detailed profiles for clients and events within the organization's database.
Attend and actively participate in most events organized by the organization, which may take place on weeknights or weekends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Previous experience in event coordination or marketing is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to attend events.
