We are looking for a talented Marketing and Communication Senior Specialist to join our team specializing in Communications for the Corporate/CBS Business Segment in Indianapolis, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Supports Communications initiatives across the function, and manages projects and ongoing initiatives. Leads and maintains project, account, and vendor management. Solves non-routine cross-functional problems. Contributes to strategy and planning. Maintains and develops relationships with stakeholders/leaders/vendors. Builds, contributes, leads, and executes strategic communications planning (marketing promotional plan/communications plan). Leads tactical execution of marketing and/or communications plans. Identifies and contributes to process improvement and functional excellence. Simplifies complex messages. Writes, edits, and creates content and strategic messaging and adheres to relevant style guides. Learns, adheres to, represents, and champions Cummins's brand. Manages, supports, and maintains budget/financials. Event preparation and execution. Leads functional training, and creates and delivers presentations. Graphic design skills, and visual communications channel capabilities preferred. Experience with a global organization preferred. Client/account management preferred. This role requires a unique combination of strategic thinking, design proficiency, and strong writing capabilities. The Creative Content Strategist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce visually appealing and engaging content that aligns with brand goals and resonates with the target audience. 1. Content Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement content strategies that align with overall marketing objectives. Conduct thorough research to understand target audiences, industry trends, and competitive landscapes. 2. Graphic Design: Create visually stunning graphics for various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing materials. Design engaging infographics, illustrations, and other visual content to enhance overall brand messaging. 3. Copywriting and Content Creation: Craft compelling and persuasive copy for a variety of content types, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, and marketing collateral. Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all written content. 4. Audience Persona Development: Develop detailed audience personas to guide content creation and design decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor content to specific target segments. 5. Creative Ideation and Conceptualization: Lead brainstorming sessions to generate creative content ideas. Develop innovative concepts for various content types, including blog posts, videos, infographics, and social media content. 6. Content Calendar Management: Create and maintain a content calendar that integrates graphic design and writing elements seamlessly. Coordinate with internal teams to align content production with marketing campaigns and product launches. 7. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with writers, designers, and other creative professionals to bring content ideas to life. Foster collaboration across departments to ensure a unified brand voice. 8. Performance Analysis and Optimization: Analyze the performance of content using relevant metrics and analytics tools. Use data insights to optimize content strategies and design elements for maximum impact. 9. SEO Integration: Collaborate with SEO specialists to ensure written and visual content is optimized for search engines and aligned with SEO best practices. 10. Stay Updated on Design Trends: Keep abreast of design trends and incorporate innovative visual elements into content strategies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with SEO best practices. Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite). Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and creativity. Knowledge of the latest trends in digital marketing, content creation, and graphic design. Compensation and Benefits Salary range is $84,000 - $126,000. Please note that the salary range provided is a good-faith estimate of the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after taking into account relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
