Who we're looking for:
Zendesk is on the lookout for a dynamic Marketing Analytics and Operations Specialist to join our high-performing team that drives strategy and operational excellence to our global business. This role is pivotal in shaping, building, and scaling Zendesks vision, strategy, and execution for the Go-To-Market (GTM) organization.
The ideal candidate will apply a "business owner" perspective to understand the success drivers of our existing business, identify opportunities for expansion, churn reduction, and contraction, and devise plans to successfully capture these opportunities. This high-visibility role will make you a key business partner to senior members of the Zendesk executive teams across our Growth and Demand teams including Regional Marketing, Digital, Partners, Outbound, and Operations.
What you'll be doing:
Serving as a trusted advisor for the EMEA and APAC time zones, partnering with Growth and Demand teams including Regional Marketing, Digital, Partners, Outbound, and Operations.Creating insightful dashboards and synthesizing data into an overall narrative that identifies key business issues and actions to address them.Leveraging data to surface leading indicators and deep insights, enabling leadership to establish and revise strategies and tactics in a timely manner.Building foundational data architecture in partnership with the Enterprise Data & Analytics team to underpin analytics frameworks.Identifying and resolving performance issues within our business, driving cross-functional action to improve performance.
What you bring to the role:
The ideal candidate is passionate about driving key objectives for the business and turning data-driven insights into actions. This person excels at balancing strategic planning with execution and thrives on driving cross-functional projects (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Product, Data), negotiating alignment, and managing multiple stakeholders with competing priorities to get results. This person will also help redesign and improve our reporting foundation including executive reporting, quarterly business reviews, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
As a key team member of the Regional Marketing Operations team, this person will make a significant impact on our rapidly growing global SaaS business and has the opportunity to grow and expand into broader areas across the team.
Basic Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in business, statistics, economics, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; with at least 2+ years of experience in strategy consulting, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.Intermediate SQL query writing skills and experience implementing and working with analytics data warehouses (e.g. BigQuery, MySQL, Snowflake, Python), along with proficiency in BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, PowerBI) and advanced Excel or Google Sheet functions.Strong attention to detail, particularly when it comes to requirement gathering, data quality, and the ability to drive projects independently.Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.Experience analyzing CRM data (e.g. Salesforce), familiarity with SaaS metrics, and marketing funnel reporting and industry KPIs, such as MQLs, pipeline, and bookings (preferred).

Being digital first doesnt mean were digital only. Youll also have the flexibility to join us at a Zendesk workspace, in one of our Zendesk offices at Bangalore, Inda.
