The Marketing Analyst National Sales will be responsible for finding and developing leads for US Foods National Sales. Work with Sales Managers and Directors to best support their markets and needs. Embrace and enhance our current methodology for lead generation. Achieve or exceed your new prospect and lead targets.
This position has been segmented as Hybrid meaning there is a combination of two days a week onsite and the rest remote.
Responsibilities:
Learn US Foods go-to-market strategy and differentiation and leverage in your marketing to gain new leads. This includes a consistent method of direct calling, emailing and mailing to drive successful leads.Promoting and selling meetings to potential national customers to talk to the appropriate national business developer. Target of 5 per month.Produce new account targets in SOUS, our sales force automation system, of 10 per month.Research and develop data on all targets including key executives and contact information, current distributor and estimated sales volume.Identify key targets in every market and work with the Sales Managers and Directors to gain alignment and direction.Drive the adoption and implementation of SOUS. Track and monitor pipeline and Business Developments efforts on all leads generated and moved into the sales cycle.
Relationships:
Internal: Direct contact with senior level staff and sales associates throughout the organization.External: Executive level of potential customers.
Qualifications:
Education/Training:
Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.
Related Experience:
Must have some level of experience in generating new leads or selling.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to successfully build relationships internally and externally. Must have the ability to leverage relations to achieve business goals and work in a matrix environment. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as organizational skills and strong follow through. Ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines. Ability to closely follow a consistent sales lead methodology.
