Job Summary
As a member of the RevOps Market Intelligence team, you will be collecting, recording, analysing, and delivering market insights about the market in general and the colocation industry in particular. You will support the Regional Market Intelligence lead producing localised market insights, competitor battlecards, and a number of ad-hoc requests from a variety of stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, and regional executives. To be successful in this role, you will have an ability to organize data (both structured and unstructured) into actionable insights. You will also be curious, with an array of interests, and keen to work in an international environment.
What you'll be doing?
Collect and record market and competitor data
Curate daily industry news and competitor announcementsConsult a variety of sources, free an paid forListen to internal stakeholders including sales and marketing and capture their informationRecord information in a repository for your use and the team's use
Analyse market information
Understand market and competitor news and announcementsConsolidate information originating in different sourcesSimplify and synthesise generating insightsProvide context to your insights either by using information previously recorded or by researching the topicSuggest the business implications
Deliver market insights
Generate insights using a variety of tools including written insights, visuals, and presentationsEnsure that the data used in all deliverables is accurateMeet deadlines and work simultaneously in different projects and requestsProvide prompt support to the requests of the Regional Market Intelligence lead and stakeholders
Collaborate with the Market Intelligence team
Support the Market Intelligence team with your knowledgeShare skills with the rest of the teamGenerate ideas to improve the team's processes and deliverables
What do you need?
Experience in managing large amounts of qualitative and quantitative information, analyse it, and communicate it in a simple and effective mannerFluent in English; a second language relevant to the Equinix region is a plusGood oral and written communication skillsProficient user of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel and basic knowledge of Business Intelligence toolsBachelors degree or two years minimum work experienceDetail oriented with ability to independently validate / triangulate data and analysisMotivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and maintain strong team relationshipsGlobal mindset, keen to work in an international, multicultural environmentInterest in the technology industryPassion for learning - self-motivated and curious, asking clarifying questions to research issues, business needs, and underlying processes
