What You Will Be Doing
As a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Planner Sr you will be responsible for:
•Develop and improve upon process for the distribution of chemical materials across the entire site.
•Develop, implement, and track metrics that supports the business objectives.
•Be a key driver and implementor within the in-sourcing of Chemical Management & Distribution across the site.
•Provide oversight and management of our storage resources for chemicals across the facility such as freezes, coolers, POU stations, & flammable cabinets.
•Work with our customers to refine our POU rack inventory ensuring the current AMU (Average Monthly Usage) is accurate and if not, correcting it. Ensuring we have the right materials, in the right quantities, at the right time.
•Identify and lead continuous improvement projects pertaining to Chemical Distribution sitewide.
•Conduct monthly and quarterly 6S & PMT audits.
•Track & remind employees of past due and upcoming required trainings, certifications, and security related requirements.
•Assist with the onboarding of new employees to ensure satisfactory transition from new hire to fully training Crib Attendant.
•Ensure a safe working environment and take immediate action to correct any deficiencies and/or unsafe conditions.
•Be a key contributor to the overall development and cohesiveness of our team.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience Planning, Purchasing, Warehousing, &/or Distribution within a Manufacturing or Production Operations environment.
• Working SAP and/or MRP knowledge.
• Strong understanding and usage of Microsoft Office suite to include, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Office, and Project.
Desired Skills:
• Planning, Purchasing, Warehousing, and Distribution
experience within Aviation Manufacturing.
• Previous aircraft paint mixing and spraying experience.
• 6 Sigma Lean Manufacturing certifications
• Ability to work in a group and as an individual contributor.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to walk long distances.
• Ability to climb stairs without assistance.
• Ability to lift and move up to 80lbs.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
