providing training support to the manufacturing facility for the Job Instruction (JI) Training program promoting and maintaining training quality including training new managers and associates on the JI method for training and documentation monitoring/performing job audits to ensure accurate documentation managing JI training documentation including performing ongoing document maintenance for improvements to the processes and equipment changes ensuring documents are current coordinating training including tracking and reporting the status of training completion coordinating the JI portion of orientation for new associates monitoring training to ensure all training goals are met assisting in the roll-out of other future operational training initiatives providing analytical and administrative support as assigned
Required Qualifications
high school diploma or equivalent experience thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs (especially Word, Excel, Outlook) ability to take initiative and complete tasks independently training and organizational skills effective time management skills strong interpersonal skills detail-oriented effective verbal and written communication skills ability to understand regulatory requirements willingness to work nights and weekends to meet the manufacturing business needs ability to travel, including overnight stays and travel by air ability to work well with others and be a team member must show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work must show commitment to Publix's mission
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's Degree in a business related field 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment; 2 years training experience Lean, Six Sigma, or related certification(s) knowledge of Job Instruction methods

Year End Bonus
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week's pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.
