Webato Roof Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for a ME Engineer,for C Shift,at our facility in New Hudson, MI.Key Responsibilities:Implement mandatory process standards, plant levelRelease gluing and PU processes based on PEP process procedure, plant levelSupport in several task force, regionalImplement standard PU cell layouts (including layout change),with relevant departmentsAnalyze customer forecast trends and line utilization, balance line capacity utilizationEnsure defined rework and scarp levelDefine work instructions, routings and define or determine standard timeWork out specification, support purchasing process for equipment from technical siteCollect Lessons Learned and report them to regionParticipate in Plant Daily Action and lead Daily Action of ME teamPrepare the investment feasibility analysis report for approvalEnsure launch smoothly (pre-acceptance, operator training, OTS, final acceptance and SOP on time).Contribute in the regional standardizationPrepare & submit annual LL & best practiceParticipate in Plant P-FMEAParticipate in project meetings to represent plant / MESet up project reports as required by ONE PEPAct as interface to line suppliers, prepare tech. spec. for supplier selectionDeep understanding of global GME&GPE standardsPlan and implement process improvements to increase productivityMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial engineering2 - 5 years relevant experience in a similar role in an automotive/manufacturing environmentStrong understanding in lean management and project managementExcellent management and leadership skillsExcellent communication and people skillsAbility and willingness to work in C shift (Friday/Saturday - 6 am to 6 pm, Sunday/Monday - 6 pm to 6 am)Ability and willingness to work long hours if necessary
