  Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Manufacturing Engineers to support all passenger, freighter, and military derivative airplane programs located in the Puget Sound region of Washington state, including 737, 767, 777, 787, KC-46, and P-8. We are hiring Associate, Mid-Level, and Senior engineers to support our Fabrication, Assembly, and Electrical Systems production lines. A successful candidate in this role will have passion, creativity, and a steadfast desire for process improvement and efficiency. They will also have a strong desire to be out in the factory, interacting with mechanics and electricians, and directly supporting the production system. They will also be expected to collaborate with teams located at our Global partner sites.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Leads Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in analyzing product development, complex producibility studies and production/tooling philosophies.

  Refines, validates, coordinates and implements conceptual designs and manages the program architecture for build.

  Develops manufacturing plans and oversees plan optimization.

  Conducts complex producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.

  Resolves complex technical problems.

  Serves as a project manager to ensure that contract requirements, specifications, design criteria and schedule performance are integrated and maintained.

  Leads advanced design solutions and supports research of new product or business opportunities.

  Deploys company Lean Enterprise analysis methods.

  Documents and communicates producibility best practices.

  Work Authorization:

  The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering course of study.

  Experience working in an engineering discipline.

  Ability to collaborate with both domestic and global engineering workforce as well as manufacturing team members on the factory floor.

  2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  Typical Education/Experience:

  Associate: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

  Mid-Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+2 years' related work experience).

  Senior: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).

  Relocation:

  Pay Range Summary:

  The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

  Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  Summary pay range:

  Associate (Level 2): $80,750 – $109,250

  Mid-Level (Level 3): $96,050 - $129,950

  Senior (Level 4): $117,300 - $158,700
