　　This position is for an on-site Manufacturing Electrical Engineer Co-Op who will join the Manufacturing support team at the Collins Aerospace Manchester, Iowa facility for the Summer/Fall 2024 session.

　　The position is for an Electrical Engineering student interested in learning engineering principles used in manufacturing. If selected, the employee will work side by side with manufacturing electrical engineers, test technicians, and various other manufacturing support/engineering staff, to apply engineering problem solving to a variety of issues and resolve test failure issues.

　　This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run May/June to December; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past December 2024.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Collect test failure information and prepare failure analysis reports as required for production.

　　Assist in analyzing test failures for root causes and corrective actions.

　　Analysis of various manufacturing data; i.e. Work In Process (WIP), test output & failures, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)

　　Assist with optimizing test flow relative to cost constraints.

　　Assist in developing and preparing test and diagnostic programs to aid in the troubleshooting of test failures

　　Ability to diagnose problems and recommend alternative solutions.

　　Works with engineer peers and test technicians to understand product and test system issues

　　Support continuous improvement initiatives and projects using the CORE methodology

　　Knowledge of principles and techniques commonly used in electronics manufacturing.

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

　　The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
