Overview:
Reporting to VP of Americas Alliances, the Manager/Senior Manager will be a player/coach leading a team of individuals responsible for named Alliances and will cover strategic partner(s) for the business. These individuals are focused on leveraging our ecosystem of to achieve growth in the market through unique solutions and capabilities with Alteryx solutions.
In the leadership capacity, the responsibility of this Alliance Director will be to coach, grow and lead a successful team by driving meaningful alliance plans, solutions, and new offerings.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of Alliance professionals to build meaningful alliance plans, solutions, and new offerings to a set of partnerships.Develop joint alliance business plans with key stakeholders between Partner and Alteryx including specific governance around business development actions, demand generation, pipeline, and revenue outcomes. Drive Quarterly Business Reviews and governance against agreed goals including regular pipeline reviews, revenue, and renewals performance along with executive communications on partnership status/results. Drive Business development actions including identification and prequalification of engagement requests for sales, drive joint account planning, facilitate account engagement, and conduct checkpoint calls on key sales opportunities.Drive solution development focused on new opportunity areas in Market, facilitate 'art of the possible' sessions and drive the process for joint offering build-out/development, create joint services delivery model and consider business terms for specialized agreements. Coordinate Partner and Alteryx marketing stakeholders to develop a marketing program around - thought leadership, events, customer success stories and sales materials.Internal selling and socialization of partnership, value prop, partnering behaviors across Alteryx stakeholders.Conduct alliance checkpoints (QBR, joint pipeline checkpoints), develop agreed escalation/resolution process, provide exec communications on partnership status/results and conduct partnership health checks (maturity/goals)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8+ years of proven success in Alliance Management with 3-5+ years experience leading Alliance teams with significant experience around Analytics, Business Intelligence and/or Data Platform market.Proven track record of driving partner influenced revenue across a team. Skilled in departmental management, performance management, and negotiation.Superb written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate technology features into business benefits.Polished presentation skills to audiences large and small; highly articulate ambassador for Alteryx Alliance Accounts. Experience driving integrated solutions that bundle partner services to create joint offerings.Ability to creatively drive, coach and mentor Alliance team members on developing go-to-market plans to promote joint solution awareness, develop GTM plans and execute with clear account/teaming agreements and management system to measure success. Talented cross-functional collaborator able to develop trusted relationships and rapport.Proficient in MS Office products and strong knowledge of Salesforce.com expected.Able to travel as required.

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
The salary range for this role in Colorado, Washington State and Rhode Island is $270 - $280k. The salary range for this role in New York City, Southern California and Northern California is $280k - $300k.
In addition, you may be eligible for additional compensation, such as a bonus and stock grants. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
