As the Manager, Video Production and Studio Programming, your primary responsibility is to lead our video production initiatives, ensuring that the delivery of high-quality outputs is done strategically and efficiently
You will be utilizing your expertise in studio production, video, audio, and lighting to create an exceptional studio experience that will elevate our video production efforts and bring our narrative to life

What you'll do
Develop and oversee the strategic plan for studio productions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and brand identity
Provide technical guidance for video production, audio, and lighting, ensuring superior quality and innovation in studio and video production
Oversee video production, studio programming and equipment ensuring optimal utilization, maintenance, and budget management
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Formulate and implement contingency plans for technical issues, ensuring uninterrupted production quality and consistency
Direct video shoots and post-production edits, maintaining a creative environment that encourages innovation and excellence
Write and oversee the creation of engaging scripts, aligning video content with audience needs and brand strategy
Oversee live broadcast events, ensuring smooth operations and high engagement
Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the studio, coordinating schedules and ensuring all needs are met with professionalism
Maintain the highest standards of visual and auditory quality, ensuring all productions adhere to brand guidelines and professional benchmarks
Continuously seek and integrate new technologies and methodologies to enhance studio content and audience engagement
Work closely with stakeholders to develop elevated production experiences that incorporate best practices and align with business goals
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop elevated production experiences incorporating best practices aligning with business and design goals
Champion American’s internal visual design and brand standards
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor’s degree in film, cinema studies, broadcast, or relevant field, equivalent experience, or training
6+ years of experience in video production/broadcast experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro
Proven experience in managing studio productions, including live broadcasts.
Technical proficiency with our studio equipment – Ross Carbonite, Ross XPressions, Avid Ingest, Autoscript, Panasonic Varicam / PTZ camera systems, Litepanel, Chamsys, Letrosonic, Sanken, Allen & Heath.
Strong visual design skills, including motion graphics, video, screen layouts, information design, and typography
Expertise in copy / script writing preferred
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Implement and oversee a comprehensive quality control process for all produced content
Ability to collaborate with the creative team to coordinate video production projects from initial design concepts to implementation
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, Agile-based, iterative environment
Portfolio of work that demonstrates required skills and detailed attention to video production, set design, motion and graphic elements
