Position Summary
This role will support the Eos Underwriting model product owner as part of a broader project to modernize CVS Health’s prescription pricing tools. This project is vital to the success of the Underwriting transformation initiative driving profitability across the Enterprise and creating customized pricing offers for our clients.
As a Manager, you will be the subject matter expert responsible for supporting the design and implementation of the user interface within the new Underwriting model. You will be responsible for leading discovery and solutioning exercises for new features, as well as ensuring proper implementation of those initiatives by the technical teams. The Manager will craft user stories and help manage and prioritize the enhancements backlog. In this role, you will not only be involved in the development of tool capabilities, but you will also support product testing efforts. As a SME on this product, you will help outline testing parameters and provide final review and sign-off of features. Finally, you will leverage your knowledge of the business and the product to assist with live client support, ensuring integrity of the financial results used by leaders and decision makers.
You will have ownership over the development of significant pieces of the new Underwriting model. This role will work closely with a variety of individuals across the enterprise including business leaders, product owners, technical teams, and business SMEs to drive product development. In addition, this role provides financial analysis to support various initiatives such as assumption development and model validation. Being able to communicate and partner with a wide variety of audiences will be a key skill needed to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities
-Leverage understanding of the business to ensure product requirements are accurately captured and communicated to key stakeholders
-Develop a deep understanding of the business product and how the product fits into the broader ecosystem of tools.
-Lead solutioning discussions with SMEs across organization and present proposals to key stakeholders
-Drive product development partnering with key stakeholders including technical counterparts
-Develop tools and procedures to create efficiencies in areas such as testing and defect resolution
-Assist with UAT and broader testing efforts to minimize future defects stemming from initial development
-Develop financial analyses to support future modeling improvements
This role may be located out of our offices in Scottsdale, AZ, Northbrook, IL, or Woonsocket, RI. We are open to a work from home/fully remote arrangement as well.

Required Qualifications 3+ years of analytical experience (Excel, Tableau) Preferred Qualifications
Pharmacy benefits management (PBM) or healthcare industry work experience
Experience working with IT and Scrum methodology
Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work across business units within a complex organization
Excellent oral and written communications skills; ability to convey complex topics in clear and concise terms.
Experience prioritizing work and communicating in a manner that is clear, logical, consistent, and effective
Innovative mindset and ability to work outside of established boundaries
Results oriented with ability to keep others on task to meet defined goals
Experience developing complex financial solutions and working with technical audience to ensure proper implementation
Degree related to finance, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics, or other data related fields
Financial modeling experience
Knowledge of health insurance, managed care, or prescription drug industry
Experience working in a dynamic environment with continually evolving priorities
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $132,600.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
