In Finance Operations, we work hand-in-hand with leaders across the company to ensure smooth, disciplined execution of strategic business objectives. We provide end-to-end assistance to support Uber globally across procure to pay; strategic sourcing, logistics, and supply chain; contingent workforce; B2B order to cash; payroll; travel, expense, and business visas; intelligent automation; and F&A shared services. This position is a hybrid role (in office 50% of the time) and you must be located in or willing to relocate to Dallas, Chicago or San Francisco.
About the Role
We are looking to hire a technology manager of transformation to join our Order to Cash Global Process Owner team. As a key member of our GPO team, you will play a crucial role in leading and driving the transformation of our OTC processes and systems. You will also lead global projects in a very fast-growing and changing environment. This person will drive the execution of transformational projects by applying their technology transformation expertise, collaborating with partners across the organization, and defining business processes that improve automation, control adherence, standardization, and simplicity.
The GPO OTC Technology Transformation Manager reports to the Head of the OTC Global Process Owners (GPO), and is a core member of the GPO Module Leadership Team, within the broader Order to Cash Organization at Uber Technologies Inc (UTI), a component of the broader Finance Operations Group.
What You'll Do
This role will be focused on driving operational scale, technology transformation, as well as business growth through high impact solution designIn this role, you will learn the business inside-out, develop roadmaps, test & learn, and drive outcomes for our global sales teams & customersAdditionally, you will cultivate strong relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders, Sales Systems Engineering, Data Science, Business Operations, Product, and vendors to find opportunities, design, and deliver resultsDesign and deploy internal tool strategies; create and lead multi-quarter roadmapsDevelop and communicate current and future state business processes, data flows and process diagrams, user journeys and workflowsIdentify and holistically assess both data and process problems as well as business needs to create recommendationsQuantify and evaluate business/user impact to inform prioritization across new use cases, tasks, defects, and enhancementsPropose solutions to improve productivity, decrease overall complexity, minimize technical debt, and enable better data integrityBuild and maintain project trackers as well as communication channels to effectively manage actions to meet deadlines while building at high velocityRegularly assess and communicate project constraints or risks globally; identify project dependencies and mitigation plansInfluence change management strategies and be responsible for deploying, where applicableBuild cross-functional relationships and partner effectively with other teams for collaborative opportunities
Basic Qualifications

Extensive experience (10+ Years) of professional experience in technology transformation, OTC operations, or a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects and driving improvements in executionBA/BS or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or EngineeringCPA/MBAExcellent communication skills, and evidenced ability to communicate with varied audiences in making the complex simple. Proven track record in consulting and influencing with internal business clients, external customers, and a wide range of external service providers, including Business Process Outsourced (BPO)Ability to motivate change and improve the end-to-end processes with a strong, proven track record in business process re-engineering and systems analysis. Demonstrate strong influential collaboration skills with leadership in a fast-paced changing environmentA sharp sense of the broader picture, the ability to think strategically and connect the end-to-end scope to design ad hoc process and Policies to support in a fluid and efficient way the aspirations and strategies of the LOBsCompelling leadership capabilities evidenced by the ability to gain the trust of partners, negotiate with, influence, and motivate a diverse group of partners of varying levelsSenior end-to-end Project management experience coupled with world-class expertise on both Credit & Collections. For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $114,000 per year - $127,000 per year.
For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $114,000 per year - $127,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $127,000 per year - $141,000 per year.
