Role Description:
You'll lead a team of talented content producers who collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to create high-quality documentation and user assistance that helps our customers in vertical succeed. UI text and in-app user assistanceOnline help and guidesSolutions and use case documentationDeveloper and reference documentationHow-to and onboarding videosHands-on learning modules (Trailhead)
You will:
Inspire, coach, mentor, and provide professional development for your teamWork with Content Experience and cross-functional teams and stakeholders to determine direction and priorities for your teamOversee content strategy and ensure coverage and qualityRecruit, hire, and onboard new writers as the team growsBe a leader and contribute to overall Content Experience direction and priorities
Required Experience/Skills:
5+ years of documentation management experience or project leadership experience10+ years of experience in technical writingProven leadership and mentoring skillsExcellent communication, analytical, interpersonal, and team development skillsSound judgment and strong decision-making abilityStrong customer advocacy skillsGreat organizational abilitiesCross-functional team experience and influenceTrack record of improving existing styles, processes, and teamsBachelor's degree in a technical or communications field
Desired Experience/Skills:
Experience documenting SaaS applications or enterprise-class client/service softwareExperience with source control software such as Perforce or GitHubExperience with authoring tools such as OxygenKnowledge of DITAExperience with video and image editing softwareBasic understanding of Salesforce or another CRM system
