Manager, Supply Planning Responsibilities:
Lead a high-performance team of Planners and own the end-to-end supply chain planning ensuring product availability for a portfolio of AR/VR products.
Coach and mentor team members’ professional development.
Demand-supply planning, capacity and factory scheduling, and leading the weekly (tactical) and monthly (strategic) Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for the products in the assigned portfolio.
Present supply and capacity recommendations to leadership in the monthly S&OP meetings for finished goods and components (long-term planning).
Own the weekly S&OP process for assigned product portfolios, including leading the meetings and providing information to cross-functional teams to support supply and demand planning objectives.
Steer all stages of inventory planning from NPI to EOL for the products in the team’s assigned portfolio (hero products and accessories).
Develop tactical, capacity/material constrained production plans to fulfill the requirements created in the Demand Plan.
Manage the ex-factory and supply commit processes for the associated contract manufacturing sites.
Have a deep understanding of multi-channel demand signals for the products in the assigned portfolios and provide actionable recommendations to respond/adjust trends (e-commerce, retail, enterprise, non-revenue).
Create and maintain inventory plans for finished goods across regional DCs considering operational and fulfillment service policies, financial targets and cost-effective transportation considerations.
Accountable for creating, communicating and monitoring detailed requested Ship Plans at the contract manufacturing sites (forecast, commits, build plans, PO creation, E&O planning).
Partner with Contract Manufacturing Operations to ensure that site capacities are properly modeled and optimized across the network in meeting customer demand.
Accountable for the identification and resolution of supply issues, including communication, escalation and coordination of resolution.
Develop and manage inbound and outbound priorities, allocations, and backlog resolution.
Responsible for supply chain key performance indicators (KPI) associated with the assigned product portfolio.
This includes, but is not limited to Days of Supply, E&O, shortages within lead time and inventory exposure at each supplier.
Have a deep understanding of EPR systems, specifically, planning, order management, allocations, and fulfillment.
Leverage deep understanding of Tableau and Business Intelligence hubs.
Partner with systems engineering teams to develop internal tools and to execute supply planning automation roadmap to support increasing scale and complexity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, track progress of projects for on-time completion.
Drive continuous improvement in processes.
Manage the analysis of hardware lifecycle information to create a HW ramp up/ramp down plan to optimize inventory & fulfill customer requirements.
Perform scenario analysis to understand impact of component shortages, demand upside/downside, etc.
to Supply Plan of Record Partner with the global procurement teams to allocate constrained components, ensure raw material inventory targets are met, and minimize material obsolescence during product transition.
Coordinate closely with regional demand planning, marketing and sales teams to ensure supply plans meet sales requirements.
Coordinate with Marketing and New Product Operations teams to set launch quantities of new product introductions and to ensure smooth product transitions.
