Position Summary...
What you'll do...
As the Manager, Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Compliance, you will be responsible for managing the consistency of our compliance programs by: responding to questions and issues; identifying, reporting, and addressing compliance gaps and concerns ; managing regulatory contacts and any penalties incurred; and drafting and updating policies and standard operating procedures with input from leadership.
What you'll do:
Supporting the development and maintenance of Walmart's compliance standards and procedures by reacting to relevant changes in laws and policy.
Coordinating the regulatory contact process.
Managing the legislation assessment strategy by reviewing research on relevant proposed legislation and determining potential impacts on business area.
Supporting the development of corporate positions on various overarching issues by reconciling research into refined messages for review.
What you'll bring:
Experience building and supporting programs to drive enhanced execution and compliance.
A solid track record of delivering operational efficiencies and improvements utilizing data.
You are strategic, influential, and progressive with the ability to translate business challenges into actionable solutions in a complex, rapidly evolving environment.
Experience working in a regulated industry and interacting with regulatory or law enforcement officials.
You are action-oriented, resourceful, and approachable while also having the ability to influence and lead change, based on your experience and network.
