  About the Role

  The Social Media Creative Lead will strategize, concept and execute creative design with direction from the Director of Creative, Director of Social Media, and in partnership with the broader creative team. The role is an exciting opportunity to evolve the Banana Republic social brand presence and distinct product offering with content that delivers newness and engagement on organic and paid social channels. This role will be responsible for owning graphic design and art direction on social from concept through to delivery, working from briefs as well as initiating and pitching concepts.

  What You'll Do

  Concept, develop and execute content inclusive of art direction and graphic design for paid and organic social media channels, inclusive of Instagram grid posts, IG stories, Reels, TikTok, and Pinterest, among others

  Concept and execute short form video content and animation, inclusive of storyboarding, art direction, and editing treatments

  Pitch and execute innovative social first concepts to amplify business goals and initiatives

  Translate campaign themes into compelling social channel specific content

  Stay abreast of social media landscape (Tiktok, Instagram, Pinterest, influencers and creators, etc.) and infuse trends into brand relevant design executions

  Think strategically to translate data and insights into creative, social-first content that delivers results

  Own and oversee work through lifecycle of project -- concept, design and development, refinement, execution

  Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout all deliverables

  Partner with production partners to revise and refine design assets for delivery

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PR, strategy, copy, project management, production, and more

  Who You Are

  An innovative and conceptual graphic designer and creator, skilled at merging art with commerce

  You have a compelling portfolio of distinctive design work with elevated brand expressions

  A knowledge of fashion, design, image making, and branding with a highly refined sensibility

  Inspired by the changing creative landscape -- you're social, experiential, and brand obsessed

  Experience with video content creation and digital animation, digital storytelling

  Passion and pop culture, trends in social media, understanding of landscape and performance drivers

  Refined design sensibility and typography skills

  Strong organizational skills, keen eye for detail, and ability to manager multiple projects at once

  You thrive in a fast-paced environment where deadlines, priorities, and initiatives pivot at the speed of social trends

  Love collaboration, discourage competition

  5+ years relevant design experience, retail or luxury background preferred

  Expert in the Adobe Suite, Premiere, After Effects, Keynote, social apps and design tools

  Salary Range: $112,100 - $148,500 USD

  Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
