Job Summary
As a member of Equinix's Revenue Operations Go-To-Market (GTM) Insights & Analytics (IA) team, the Manager of Segmentation Analytics will be at the forefront of our mission to accelerate revenue growth through enhanced customer experiences. This role holder is responsible for utilizing data-driven techniques, such as predictive and prescriptive propensity-to-buy, customer lifetime value, as well as needs-based segmentation and customer targeting modelling and analytics, while leading a specialized team to comprehend, segment, and discover growth opportunities within our diverse market, Platform, customer, and partner ecosystem. Their contributions empower Equinix's Customer and Revenue Office to refine marketing strategies, optimize corporate development, enhance sales and customer success tactics, improve product and service offerings, and fine-tune revenue-generating GTM and route-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment with the preferences and requirements of customers and partners.
Responsibilities
Segmentation and Targeting Strategies
Develop and execute data-driven strategies to segment/target Equinix's market, Platform, customer, and partner ecosystemLead and support the specialized Segmentation Analytics team, overseeing operations, analysis, and insights activationSolicit feedback to fine-tune operations and enhance the quality and relevance of segmentation effortsMonitor performance metrics and OKRs, taking corrective actions when necessary while continuously improving operations and offerings to align with business objectives and deliver value and ROI.
Analytics Insights
Utilize advanced analytics, including predictive, prescriptive analytics, machine learning, and AI, to uncover valuable insights for segmentation and targeting. Identify key patterns, trends, and relationships to develop and refine segmentation and targeting models, informing GTM strategiesCollect and manage high-quality segmentation and targeting data from reliable sources, aligning with DataOps best practicesExtract insights and collaborate with the Corporate Strategy and Development, as well as CRO teams, to propose data-driven segmentation transformation strategies for decision-making and strategic planning
Stakeholder Enablement
Identify users' goals for Segmentation and Targeting Analytics to inform decision-making & implement tools/technologies for self-service access with DataOpsEffectively communicate segmentation and targeting insights through customized reports, presentations, Tableau visualizations, and self-serve activation mechanisms that meet stakeholders' needsEstablish a systematic feedback process incorporating inputs from multiple teams & sources to enhance & customize segmentation and targetingDrive adoption through effective communication, insights activation initiatives & conducting training sessions to enhance stakeholders' understanding of segmentation and targeting concepts & applications
Leadership
Manage the small and specialized Segmentation Analytics teams' performance through prioritization, engagement, & coachingDrive people development strategy, mentorship, & development opportunities to enhance teams' skills & capabilities, including location-based & hybrid/remote virtual initiativesProvide leadership & guidance for escalations & interlocks with other stakeholdersModel Equinix cultures & values
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
Data center, interconnection & digital infrastructure services market experience is desirable but not essentialDemonstrated success in promoting collaboration, driving innovation, & fostering continuous improvementStrong analytical skills, including data analytics, machine learning, and AIUnderstanding of B2B platform & ecosystem business models, & their distinct approaches to leveraging networks & interactions for value creationA good understanding of GTM business strategies and a customer-centric focusEffective communication skillsAdaptability and problem-solving skillsA strategic mindset for aligning efforts with business objectivesLeadership and team management abilitiesPreferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics/Administration, Economics/Econometrics, Computer Science, IT, or similar). Optional: Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) or Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) certificationExperience with Excel, SAS, SPSS, Python, R, ANOVA, MATLAB, Tableau, ESRI, Power Bi, Salesforce, Clari, AI/ML tooling & scripting
