Job Description
The role
As the Scheme Relationships Manager, you'll own the end-to-end process of ensuring that Checkout.com remains compliant with card scheme mandates by working in partnership with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams to disseminate the mandates and deliver by the effective dates.
In this role, you'll join an ambitious team and will work in partnership with data scientists and engineers to significantly move the needle within an area that has high strategic importance to Checkout.com. Working closely with the Director of Scheme Relationships, you’ll build an established network of key points of contact (internal/external) to deliver the mandates and ensure the Product, Engineering, and Operations teams are prioritizing them as part of their roadmap of changes.
How you’ll make an impact
Act as a liaison to advocate for Checkout.com and its customers when new mandates are being introduced.Maintain knowledge of all products and services that are offered by the card schemeEngage external partners to develop and strengthen existing and prospective merchants’ and partners’ awareness of Checkout.com’s capabilities and focus on payment optimization to drive more business growth for its customers.As the subject matter expert, you'll be responsible for presenting upcoming key mandates to internal stakeholders globally to educate them on the impacts on Checkout.com and its customersDefine success metrics, measure progress against them and review any industry-related trends and differentiating factorsAdvocate for our merchant-centric approach, by driving engagement with card schemes and key APMs, developing key collateral for complex mandates for the wider CKO organizationWork in partnership with the Product, Operations, Program Management, and Commercial teams to ensure a well-rounded view of payments performance and to develop a deep understanding of Checkout.com’s approach.Coach junior members of the team to become experts in Payments by up-scaling their technical card scheme knowledge Qualifications About you
Proven experience in managing card scheme mandates end to end (compliance, technical, operational)Strong experience in the Payments space, working with various card scheme partnersYou're collaborative and enjoy working in a cross-functional capacity. You communicate effectively and can get others excitedAs a Subject Matter Expert, you're capable of navigating complex mandates and disseminating impacts to Product and Operation teamsYou think from the customer's perspective and are always vigilant of the desired experiencePrior program-level work in Card Authorisation Optimisation, Risk/Fraud Management is advantageous Additional Information Apply without meeting all requirements statement
