About Manager, Product Management - Data Platforms

  GEICO is looking for an accomplished, customer obsessed, and results oriented Manager , Product Management - Data Platforms to join GEICO's Enable team. As Manager, Product Management, you will be responsible for forming the product experience, by finding value creating opportunities and driving innovative and sustainable product solutions through technology. S/he will champion a startup mindset and promote agile ways of working to create and deliver differentiated experiences for our customers.

  As a part of the Enable team, you will be enabling and giving customers the confidence in using our tools and providing them with insights to deliver a great experience in a well-managed way. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy, roadmap, and vision for GEICO's Enterprise Data Platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional technical and design teams to deliver a world-class data platform that empowers our organization to lead with data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate understands data technologies, data governance, and compliance ensuring data security, privacy, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

  This position is a hybrid role, and it is required to be on-site 3 days a week at one of the following locations:Chevy Chase, MDSan Francisco, CANew York City, NYSeattle, WAIndianapolis, INChicago, ILSan Jose, CAFredericksburg, VA/Richmond, VADallas, TX

   Job Responsibilities: Understand industry landscape, market trends, customer and business need to synthesize discovery efforts into insights and implications to featuresLeverage insights to drive vision for product features that will drive incremental value and rally stakeholders to your visionDefine and own the 6-9-month feature roadmap to drive priorities for your team taking into value creation and cost to create valueIdentify and measure feature KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), with an eye to adjusting and refining your roadmap as the data dictatesHave an end-to-end understanding of features and how they fit into the larger ecosystem to be able to anticipate impacts from changes in other parts of the businessWork closely with tech leadership and architecture to understand the tradeoffs of technical decisions and how they impact the customer experienceRally teams and senior stakeholders to your product direction and proactively leverage relationships throughout the ecosystemReports on feature performance to stakeholders demonstrating incremental value creationEncourages adaptability informed by emerging solutions, industry trends and changing customer needsDefines scalable product solutions by deep knowledge of internal and external customers habitsUnderstands technology concepts and how underlying product services perform across channels and customer touchpointsFosters a strong agile discipline and inspires teams to continuously improve delivery through understanding of key agile metricsAttract, retain, and develop Product Managers on their product career Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's DegreeAt least 2 years of experience in Agile Product ManagementAt least 2 years of experience translating epics into consumer or associate facing productsAt least 1 year of experience managing all aspects of a product feature throughout its lifecycle from concept to delivery Preferred Qualifications :High sense of accountability and strong problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal and collaborative skills to influence across the organizationInsurance industry experienceAgile certifications (i.e., SAFe, Scrum Alliance, Scrum.Org, ICAgile, PMI-ACP)Annual Salary

  $86,000.00 - $154,000.00

  The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
