JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager with leadership experience, to join our marketing department. As the Product Implementation team leader, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing a team of product managers to drive the successful development, launch, and management of our products. You will collaborate closely with marketing leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure product strategies align with overall business objectives and customer needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• 40% Ensure multiple products move through key checkpoints during setup, including 510k approvals, drawings, country registrations, labeling and packaging and others.
• 20% Build out and manage a project management system that will have high visibility internally to drive coordination and collaboration across multiple cross-functional teams.
• 10% Work closely with Marketing leaders to deliver realistic timelines and coordination on product availability for strategic launch points throughout the calendar year.
• 10% Lead and support the Product Management Team, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional growth.
• 10% Take on projects as needed to ensure overall product portfolio management, including pricing, product lifecycle management, product extensions.
• 5% Develop strong internal relationships with key stake holders including QA/RA, Engineering, media, and marketing, to drive the product development process from ideation to launch.
• 5% Management of the product management budget, ensuring cost-effective and efficient resource allocation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to develop effective product strategies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Customer-centric approach and the ability to interpret customer insights into product enhancements.Understanding of market trends and competitive landscapes within the industry.Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities to motivate and develop team members.Proficiency in project management and budget management.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience in product management with a track record of successfully launching and managing products in the market.Previous experience leading and managing a team of product managers.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Travel 10%-20%. Hybrid Job demands may require long periods of sitting, standing, telephone work, computer work. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
