　　Motion Controls international (MCi), a Flex company, is the global market leader in mirror glass and power-folding actuators. Currently MCi is expanding its product portfolio to other Automotive actuation solutions such as Active Aerodynamics & Motor cooling management.

　　To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Manager Product Engineering Support ideally located in Woerden, Netherlands.

　　Reporting to the Director Engineering, the Manager Product Engineering Support ro le will be responsible for managing the implementation and development of existing products by translating the strategic plan into departmental objectives and activities, as well as preparing and securing technical changes. The Manager Product Engineering Support will be in charge of organizing and providing maximum product support for Sales, Quality and Operations.

　　 What a typical day looks like: Provide hierarchical management to Engineering Support, consisting of ~ 10 employees who perform various engineering and design functions;Provide external operational management ~ 5 employees from other entities who contribute to product developments;Formulate department objectives, budget and staffing capacity based on the strategic plan, monitor and adjust if necessary to achieve goals;Direct the correct development and implementation of work processes in the areas of, among other things, product development and support of existing products, in coordination with other disciplines and departments. Ensure documentation when implementing changes to existing products;Coordinate all engineering changes at a central level and act as a linking pin between the Operations, Quality (customers) and Purchasing departments to adapt existing products to offer improved products;Make a necessary contribution to quotations and realization of modifications within existing products. This is done by estimating, based on knowledge and expertise, what is required in terms of investments and testing capacity at the relevant clients;Monitor contact with Flex parts and suppliers;Provide technical support to customers and sales for technical problems. Work in collaboration with quality and sales to influence and discuss technical aspects and solutions to problems with the customer;Participate in technical architecture and feasibility projects from the role of expert. The experience we're looking to add to our team: A completed degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical and/or Electronics with extensive experience in automotive. Project management would be a plus; Previous involvement in product development and production environments in the automotive industry; Experience with moving mechanics, actuators, drivers, robotics or similar is strongly preferred; Knowledge of and experience with the Automotive Quality Systems IATF 16949 and ISO 14001, ASPICE, Functional Safety, Cyber Security; Advanced people and process management expertise as well as customer relationship skills, ability to navigate and network within complex international corporation, product development and mass production. Excellent prioritization, intercultural and negotiation skills for escalation management, as well as strong communication skills in English (verbal & written). Dutch would be an advantage;Frequent international travel ~ 20 %;Eligible to work in the Netherlands (EU).
