We are a highly motivated, fast-pacedteam with extensive experience in negotiations, managed care, finance,and consulting, and are at the center of DaVita's strategy to evolve fromfee for service reimbursement to value based care. We work in a collaborativeenvironment with a differential focus on both professional and personalgrowth.The Manager of Strategy and Business Development is a key member of ourteam, and will support our national and regional payor efforts to growvalue-based care. The primary responsibilities of this role are as follows:Support the development and execution geographic and payor-specific strategiesto increase the adoption of value-based careIdentifying and understand payor priorities and leverage our integrated careofferings to structure partnership opportunitiesAssist in the management of the business development cycle in coordinationwith our negotiating team to expand adoption of value-based careCollaborate with our field operators on geography-specific payor goalsDesign materials and support the development of presentations with payors tocommunicate DaVita's integrated care capabilities and potential partnershipopportunitiesCollaborate with our integrated care operations team to implement value basedprogramsSupport the building and maintaining of relationships with payors to helpensure the long-term success and sustainability of our value-based programsDevelop meaningful relationships with potential and existing partners andDaVita teammates
This role provides opportunity for rapid career growth and extensiveinteraction with executives on the Payor Partnerships, Strategy,Operations, Business Development, and Finance teams, and meaningfulexposure to the most senior levels of the DaVita Village.

QUALIFICATIONS:3-5 years minimum of work experienceBachelor's degreePreference for experience in healthcare strategy or business development, orin another relevant analytical environment (e.g. consulting, investmentbankingInnovative and flexible thinker with high EQ, outstanding conceptual,analytical, and problem-solving skillsProject management skills with the ability to own and drive multiple projectswhile working across multiple teams; ability to meet deadlines and adjustpriorities appropriatelyDemonstrated ability to communicate persuasively, both orally and in writingPerson that thrives in an ambiguous, dynamic, high energy and fast pacedenvironmentPassion for building trusted-advisor relationships with partners to createtangible resultsAdvanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPointHealthcare experience a plus, particularly with payors
