Position Details
Reporting to the Director of Labor and Employment Relations, the Manager of Labor Relations oversees all aspects of labor relations, including developing strategies to maintain positive employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and resolving any labor-related issues that may arise. The Manager, Labor Relations forms partnerships across the HR department to deliver value-added service to management and team members that reflect our goals and will work with business leaders, team members, and important partners to foster a positive work environment and lead organizational success.
You Will
Develop and implement labor relations strategies and policies that align with our goals.With the legal team, ensure compliance with labor relations legislation and stay current with labor laws, regulations, and industry trends and analyze the impact on current policies and programs.Create, customize, and facilitate labor relations training sessions for teammates and leadership. Identify the need for leader capability/competency building.Manage labor relations efforts in hot spot markets, including facilitating strategy/debrief calls, assessing risk, and coordinating resources needed.Analyze labor relations metrics, such as team member satisfaction surveys, ethics/hotline data, turnover rates, and absenteeism to identify trends and areas for improvement.Benchmark against industry to ensure we remain compliant.
You Have
Five (5) or more years of HR experience; three (3) years of which must have been with labor relations strategy and projects (NLRB election campaigns, campaign communications, proactive employee relations, strategy, project management)In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices.International (outside the US) labor relations experience.Positive employee relationship skills including conflict resolution skills.Experience overseeing strategic plans and implementing change management
