As a reflection of our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing team as Manager, Local Marketing Planning and Activation to support the Aspen Dental brand.
Job summary:
We’re looking for an agile and well-rounded marketer who will use data, insights, historical results and creativity to serve as the key marketing contact with local field staff and doctors. They will respond to any marketing related questions from offices and will proactively think about marketing performance across the organization. This person will have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create power point presentations that tell a data-driven story.
S/he will immerse themselves in business performance data to deeply understand causes of office and market-level business performance, comprehending historical and current business data, sentiment and reputation management data to create the best possible actions to take. This marketer will champion and coordinate responses with cross functional teams including but not limited to the field team, doctors, other marketing departments, and any other relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
· Lead response to doctor or field requests in live meetings and in written communication
o Break down and pinpoint the source of business issues. Work with our media agency and cross-functional teams to address any opportunities.
o Exhibit a deep understanding across Aspen support functions adjacent to marketing; Answer or partner to answer questions across corporate functions including call center, scheduling, pricing, promotions, construction, etc.
· Identify and drive opportunistic initiatives to create value at the local level
o Proactively address differences and/or changes in demand and business performance at the office level.
o Refine the proactive process to find opportunities for marketing optimization.
o Ideate and coordinate a singular marketing response from multiple functions (Media, CRM, Digital Strategy, creative, promotions/pricing, external communications, etc.) about demand performance and/or growth goals.
· Champion custom marketing for distressed office response, grand opening response, and individual requests from offices
o Brief advertising and/or creative team to deliver on field related needs across channels: customized assets, updated assets, (for example customized OOH (Out of home), updated newspaper, customized flyers, etc.)
o Oversee print production vendor for custom in office assets (grand opening flyers, stake signs, bow flags, custom requests for flyers, banner, signage, window graphics)
Key success measures:
· Primary: Improve NPA (New Patient Appointments) baseline of bottom 20% office performance; new office opening NPA and revenue, demand performance and online ratings.
· Secondary: Response time to doctors and field team members; streamline resources required from marketing team to respond to office requests.
Requirements:
· Demonstrated ability to serve as valued counsel to business partners and gain alignment amidst diverse (and strong) opinions
· Minimum 5 years of proven marketing experience and leadership within a shared services marketing team
· Analytically minded, able to structure and mine data to analyze opportunity
· Passion for continuous improvement and a record of setting and exceeding goals that enable organizational goals
· Entrepreneurial and nimble, takes ownership and drives forward amidst ambiguity while also building relationships and alignment
· Desire to be part of a growth-oriented team and culture
· Well organized with deep experience driving cross-functional initiatives
· Proven ability to distill large data sets into consumable presentations
· Accountable for workload and performance
· Ability to travel occasionally
