Kairos Power is a new nuclear energy technology and engineering company whose mission is to enable the world’s transition to clean energy, with the ultimate goal to dramatically improve people’s quality of life while protecting the environment. Job Summary
The Learning & Development Manager will develop and deliver development trainings that aligns with enterprise-wide Talent strategy and goals. In this role, you will create, administer, and facilitate scalable learning programs and curriculum that ensure our employees are engaged and have the skills and support to achieve Kairos Power’s goals. Additionally, you will be responsible the development and continued maintenance of the learning management system.
Responsibilities
Oversee the planning and driving of our L&D programs, including defining project plans, roles and responsibilities, manage implementation activities, develop processes, documentation, communications for rollouts and establish essential success metrics Partner across the People Team and the organization to guide future programming and learning opportunities, which includes working with technical experts across Kairos Power to create new content and curriculum Create a learning strategy for new hires, managers, and leaders in addition to learning programming for all employees Execute programs that focus on building leadership capabilities and behaviors, ranging from aspiring leaders to manager essentials to senior leadership skill building Partner with HR leaders to create scalable learning strategies to build leadership capability to create programs such as goal setting, feedback, career managing distributed employees, manager onboarding Act as an LMS champion, supporting cross-functional teams to utilize the system for team learning and collaboration Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Communications, or related field or equivalent years of experience 7+ years of experience in a Learning & Development or related role Experience in developing and delivering curriculum and learning programs from scratch Experience facilitating virtual, hybrid and in-person training Experience using LMS, LXP, eLearning design tools Experience and passion for speaking in front of audiences and/or facilitating training sessions Ability to handle multiple priorities and changing schedules Excellent verbal and written communication skills Physical Conditions

Occasionally requires schedule flexibility Occasionally requires extended hours to support launch and critical project timelines The salary range for this position is $147,900 to $184,800 for employees working onsite at our Alameda, CA headquarters. The range provided in this job posting represents the typical range or starting rate of candidates hired in California. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, the market data for your work location, and a comparison to other employees already in the role.
