The Travel Retail Worldwide Communications team supports all communications - including Corporate, Consumer PR, Social Media and Internal Communications - for The Estée Lauder Companies' 15 prestige beauty, skincare, fragrance and hair care brands within the Travel Retail channel. In this role, the Manager, Integrated Communications, will work closely with the Integrated Communications team to develop innovative communications strategies, events and campaigns that amplify each brand's unique story to traveling consumers within the Travel Retail space. The Manager will act as a connector between our brand teams and the Travel Retail Regional Communications teams to ensure global communications consistency in a localized approach. They will support Travel Retail's consumer PR and social media vision, managing the global PR calendar, day-to-day media and influencer relations and signature Travel Retail events.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Partner with brands and regional teams to build and maintain an annual global PR calendar for Travel Retail
• Manage the creation, adaptation, cascade and distribution of press materials from Global brand teams to regional Communications teams
• Maintain Travel Retail's global media and influencer contact lists, building a network of partners to promote The Estee Lauder Companies and its brands within Travel Retail
• Manage day-to-day Travel Retail media inquiries and influencer requests and act as connector between global brands and regional teams
• Drive signature global Travel Retail media and influencer events and ensure all Travel Retail events are executed to brand and channel standards
• Drive execution of buzz-driving partnerships and earned media strategies for brands
• Support content creation for various channels including Brand social and Retailer social channels via creative hubs and influencers
• Partner closely with Digital and Insights to develop content that resonates at the right time with the right audience
• Manage monthly PR and Social reporting for distribution to Senior Leadership Team
• Track Travel Retail Communications' budget for all initiatives, including estimates, purchase orders (PO's), and invoices
• Provide general support on Communications initiatives such as press release drafts, media statements, employee announcements, etc.
Qualifications
• Excellent written and verbal English-language communications skills
• Proven track record creating compelling communications campaigns across traditional, digital and social media that drive strong business results
• Strong consumer media and influencer contacts within the travel and/or beauty space
• Experience managing and representing multiple brands and projects simultaneously in an agency or similar setting
• Strategic media relations skills; ability to handle press inquiries on multi-faceted and sensitive topics
• Passion for social and digital media, with a strong interest in leveraging influencers to create tangible business value
• Experience working across multi-language regions with a passion for the travel space
• High degree of emotional intelligence; ability to navigate successfully in a highly matrixed global organization
• Creative strategic thinker and problem solver
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
• Demonstrates strong project management abilities
• Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with global colleagues
• Spanish or Mandarin language skills a plus
• Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years minimum experience
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $82,500 to $135,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
