About our Team
The FCC Data Operations team is responsible for all aspects of FCC data ranging from data ingestion and determining inclusion principles to data fulfillment to our end customers. Our data its offered within a variety of products ranging from single search to high volume transaction screening as well as a stand alone data file offerings. We manage support to customers on all of our data assets. We are globally dispersed, yet close knit collaborative team supporting one another to ensure organizational success.
About the Role
This role will lead a team of Content and Policy Analysts who define content standards and outline policy and inclusion criteria for our FCC and Trade Business. This person should have prior experience leading a high performing team. This person should be able to communicate with all levels of our business. Candidate will support expansion of Trade Compliance product.
Responsibilities
Manage a team of high performing content and policy analysts and guide them through policy development, policy review, and global research
Communicate with internal stakeholders as well as customers to educate and guide decision making in the FCC policy space and address questions on our data assets
Collaborate with other FCC Data operations leadership to ensure alignment and consistency in policy and training materials to ensure organizational success
Oversee creation of training materials, publication through knowledge management system, and track overall training progress for global researchers
Responsible for team professional growth and development with the ability to create and execute individual development plans with team members
Ensuring liaison with scrum teams. For successful release related documentation. This includes release notes, training documentation, and policy updates required post system release.
Continually drive for process improvements and efficiencies
Requirements
Education and/or extensive work experience in a relevant field (e.g., public policy, international affairs, regulatory compliance, knowledge management)
Exceptional knowledge in the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) space. Prefer expertise in Trade Compliance
Previous people leadership experience a must. Experience leading high performing teams
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and present with various level of leadership
Knowledge of global affairs
Experience creating and or administering training to large globally dispersed audiences
Any of the following would be advantageous:
Experience working with unstructured open-source data or relational databases (e.g., SQL)
Experience administering a knowledge management system
Ability to read a language other than English
Experience in agile development methodologies
