Job Overview
FUNCTION OVERVIEW
TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the consolidation and preparation of forecasts for the global ICT Business.
Interpret financial forecast and results data to provide meaningful recommendation of action to BU leadership and functional partners.
Operating Expense controlling. Hold functional business partners accountable for results to commitment.
Manage a team of 1-3 direct reports. Team capabilities assessment and development.

What your background should look like:
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Education
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration
MBA or CPA preferred
7+ years plus in FP&A or Controlling role.
A deep understanding Manufacturing and S&OP processes, and the financial implications thereof.
Experienced user of financial consolidation systems, ERP systems (SAP), spreadsheet analysis
Ability to create pro forma or forecasted financial statements.
Drill-down variance analysis to explain root-cause and the story behind the numbers.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, adapted for the intended audience. Able to tactfully highlight and defend positions in front of senior management.
Ability to develop talent, and effectively coach and motivate financial analysts and others

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $124,000 – 184,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
