Supply Chain at Sam's Club is all about delivering plans that help provide our members with the products they want, where they want them, at the best price possible. As a Manager I, EHS & AP - FC Leader on the Supply Chain team, you'll be based in Lumberton, NC and will function as the onsite EHS & AP expert for one of our Sam's Club fulfillment center (FC) sites. You'll oversee and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant working environment, while also safeguarding company assets from potential risks and threats. This includes managing environmental, health, and safety programs, as well as coordinating security measures and loss prevention initiatives.
What you'll do...
Develop and implement environmental, health, safety and asset protection programs that meet or exceed regulatory requirements and industry standards
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and investigations to identify potential hazards and risks and develop plans to mitigate them
Develop and deliver training programs to promote safety and environmental awareness among employees
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure all equipment and facilities comply with safety and environmental regulations
Implement security and asset protection programs to safeguard company assets and prevent loss
Manage the work of safety and security staff and contractors
Develop relationships with government agencies and industry organizations to stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and best practices.
What you'll bring...
Experience with EHS and asset protection best practices
Knowledge of federal, state and local environmental, health, safety and asset protection regulations and standards
Experience developing training programs for employees at all levels
Mentorship and trusted partnership for your operational counterparts
Bachelor's degree in occupational safety management, environmental science, chemical / industrial / mechanical engineering or related field
2+ years of environmental, health and safety experience within retail supply chain, manufacturing or related environment
CPP, CSP, ASP, GSP, OHST or other safety certification

Option 1: Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Occupational Safety Management, Audit, or related field;, AND 1 years' experience in the field of Asset Protection, Audit, Investigations, or Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, and Manufacturing, or related field.
Option 2: 3 years' experience in the field of Asset Protection, Audit, Investigations, Safety or Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing, or related field.
