HR Business Partners work closely with business leaders to translate talent and culture priorities into locally relevant plans that attract, develop, and retain best-in-class talent. We are trusted advisors, and we empower our teams to reach their goals. This role reports into the HR Director and is based in our El Segundo, CA office with a hybrid schedule.
What Your Impact Will Be:
Drive Organizational Performance:Partner with business leaders to build high functioning and performing teams, driving towards business goals and results;Provide proactive and effective coaching to leaders on performance management, organization design, and staffing opportunities, driving overall organizational effectiveness;Partner with business leaders to strategically assess business needs and remove barriers by delivering people strategy and solutions;Coach leaders to manage and maximize the skills/capabilities of their team members to create an environment of empowerment and accountability.Work with people managers to focus on internal mobility and career paths for employees;Partner with Employee Relations in conducting investigations ensuring proper handling, documentation, and alignment with legal.Inform, Engage and Accelerate Change:Partner with business leaders to implement talent development programs within each business unit (e.g., workforce planning, succession planning, performance management process, and organizational development);Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees to ensure full understanding and practical application of HR programs, practices, policies, and local legislation;Maintain awareness of emerging trends and best practices to ensure alignment of the people strategy to the business objective;Utilize data and insights to drive decision making and proactively solve for trends.Reshape Baseline Organization:Design and build organization structures and processes that align with strategic growth priorities and cost initiatives;Implement organization design to establish new capability requirements, up-skill talent and drive sustainable business growth. Qualifications What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in related field with 6+ years of relevant experience ORMaster’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience3 years of experience in an HR business partner role preferredPHR/SPHR or other HR certification preferredUnion labor relations and experience with labor negotiations preferredComprehensive organizational development and change management experience requiredExperience implementing programs in workforce planning, talent management, compensation, employee relations, training & development, and legal/complianceKnowledge of HR legal practices and employee relations skillsAbility to build and facilitate trusted business partnerships across multiple functional groupsThrive in a consumer facing environmentData driven, organizational, and problem-solving capabilityFamiliar with non-exempt guidelines and policyDemonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves. The annual base salary range for this position is between $115k and $140k
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
