About the role The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis owns financial planning, analytics, and business insights for the business (i.e. Corporate, Operations, Technology division). You will work on business reviews, full-year projections, and strategic partnership with business leadership. You will support the modernization of the Finance organization helping advise and challenge partners to make efficient business and financial decisions. You will create new processes, reporting, and guidelines to ensure visibility into business spending patterns and projections, and present findings to senior leadership.
You will report to the Sr. Director, FP&A.
This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C. The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $108,000 - $141,750 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $97,200 - $127,575 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities Lead agenda of expense management in partnership with Finance and business leadership.Build activity-based models to support ongoing efforts to provide the best insights into important activities that create expense.Advise and challenge Finance and business leadership on expense efficiencies and cost improvements.Lead partnership efforts with the business to provide expense trends and analyze main causes.Build budgets, expense forecasts, headcount reporting, and supporting analyses while ensuring accuracy and quality. Perform financial analysis including variance analysis, forecasting, risk assessments and zero based budget planning for the business.Evaluate financial results relative to budget and other benchmark data including providing commentary for management reviews.Partner with their departmental teams to lead the best financial results including performance management.Promote process improvements, automate monthly reporting and help with documentationCompliance with all applicable laws and regulationsOther duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting or equivalent work experience5 + years of finance experience including FP&A experience in Healthcare, Insurance or Financial Services4+ years of experience with Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, pro forma analysis, short-term and long-term planning.4+ years of experience with google products - Sheets, Docs and Slides or Microsoft products. 4+ years of experience working with C-level executives. Pay Transparency:
Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
