Key Responsibilities:
The Field Planning & Analytics Manager has four primary responsibilities:
Sales force territory alignment maintenance and placement maintenance
Call Plan operations, including managing the Targeting and Planning (TAP) tool and the SPRINT Call Plan Roll Forward tool
Analytics and Reporting support across all brands and sales forces
Coordinating the annual ABS approval process
In tandem with these responsibilities, the Field Planning & Analytics Manager is expected to:
Develop a deep understanding of department level processes, business rules, data sets, policies, and interdependencies across Sales Operations and Business Technology Solutions (BTS) departments
Become proficient with Javelin sales force mapping tool, the Call Plan roll forward engine, iRep, Microsoft tools and Programming language(s)
Support annual call plan design projects including optimizing physician-level evaluation schema and targeting strategy
Provide sales force sizing and structure support
Manage projects with external vendors
Support ad hoc department projects
Develop ability to anticipate customer and business needs; analyze and effectively articulate and implement results
Build strong collaboration with cross-functional partners (MABI, BTS, Marketing, Sales, RBEs)
Communicate all work effectively to Management
Skills Needed:
Motivated, self-starter
Programming language experience (i.e., SAS, R, SQL, Snowflake)
Strong communication skills, critical thinking, and analytical and problem-solving skills
Drive for results and attention to detail
Database and project management skills
Experience working with management preferred
Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical products preferred
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree preferred
4+ years of analytical experience in Pharmaceutical Sales Operations/Analytics, Market Research, or related consultancy
