The selected candidate should thrive in a demanding and challenging work environment and must have the ability to multi-task and manage a staff of various facilities homeroom functions in distributed locations.
Candidate selected for this role will be responsible for managing a cross sector team chartered to enable Facilities functional homeroom performance through centralized, strategic homeroom support of systems, tools, processes, training, and coordination of Sector/Corporate initiatives impacting the broader organization.
Selected candidate will ensure processes, standards, systems, tools and sector/enterprise initiatives are approached collaboratively with site teams and will assure a common voice for Facilities through integration across Facilities disciplines and sites.
Selected candidate will lead and/or advise on briefings and meetings for internal customers and stakeholders; act as an advisor to staff members to meet schedules and resolve operational problems and manage budgets for recurring and non-recurring Facilities expenditures.
Duties and Responsibilities include:Manage and enable a team of 7+ staff members (multiple locations)Manage Facilities process management, design standards/services, systems strategy, tools, licenses, data monitoring, metrics, sector/enterprise initiative integration, and ad/hoc site and facilities administration support duties.Coordinate the development and/or streamlining of facilities operating processes including: Principles and Operating Practices (PrOPs), Desktop Instructions and Guidelines.Manage and orchestrate the development, documentation and upkeep of design and construction standards and requirementsParticipate in and support technical design reviews and/or facilitate A/E vendor support of design reviewsManage the estimating process and related software tool deployed for estimation across the Facilities organization. Apply focused approach on coordination and consistent protocols around training and development for our Facilities personnel; ranging from standard orientation and onboarding to coordination of training / train the trainer model for processes, tools, and roles.Oversee Facilities systems and tools including but not limited to Archibus, Maximo, project management and risk monitoring tools.Develop strategic systems roadmap to support NGAS Facilities operations with tie in to sector and enterprise initiatives in coordination with the Digital Transformation OfficeLead team on the development and/or improvement of facilities forms, templates, and/or boilerplate documents to be deployed for use across the Sector sites.Represent AS sector on Facilities Enterprise teams such as the Office Space and Furniture Guidelines, Requirements collection template, Global suppliers etc. Manage migration and access to document repository systems (Sharepoint, Local File Servers/Share Servers, Archives Databases). Provide direction & guidance on utilization of document repository systems.Assure Facilities file archives are maintained including drawings, project files, project estimatesManage and advise on Facilities AutoCAD licenses and drawing file storageCoordinate and integrate information for distribution across Facilities sites / organization (Newsletter, Website Updates, Metrics, etc.)Strong leader capable of pulling together effective meetings with peers and stakeholders to collect feedback, assess gaps, and define best practices.Ability to synthesize information and make recommendations on adjustments where necessary/valuable is a critical skill for this role.Excellent communication skills required.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Basic Qualifications:
• This position requires a BS degree and a minimum of 9 years of related experience or a master's degree with 7 years of experience.
• Strong Microsoft 365 Office Suite skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project
• Familiarity with accounting and budget practices
• Experience managing teams and achieving organization objectives, goals, and metrics
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret level security clearance Qualifications.

Salary Range: $138,400 - $240,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
