As a Data Engineering Manager at Paramount Streaming, you will be the driving force behind our data-centric initiatives. Your role is pivotal in translating analytical and experimental requirements into innovative business solutions while encouraging creativity through diverse data sources.

　　Strategic Technical Leadership: Spearhead strategic data initiatives across Paramount Streaming groups and champion data-driven solutions throughout our business units. Team Leadership: Take the helm as the day-to-day leader of a highly skilled team of Engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring alignment with our vision. System Delivery: Plan, implement, and be accountable for delivering ground breaking systems and tools that extract insights from extensive datasets, transforming data into a strategic advantage. Innovative Project Leadership: Orchestrate transformative projects that will reshape the way Paramount+ operates, with unwavering commitment to data quality, validity, and the promotion of automation where beneficial. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our team's leadership to address infrastructure, architecture, and framework needs. Technical Proficiency: Bring to bear your extensive experience in data engineering and large datasets, coupled with a validated foundation in software engineering principles. Data-Driven Solutions: Craft solutions that address existential business questions and explore avenues for efficient automation. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Educational Background: STEM undergraduate degree accompanied by a proven passion for the field of data engineering. Professional Experience: Bring a wealth of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in one of the following areas: Data Engineering, Software Development, or Big Data Architecture, with Cloud platforms (preferably GCP) Leadership Foresight: Tried experience directing a team with varied strengths of engineers with varying backgrounds. Coding Proficiency: Exhibit proven perspicacity in Python programming. Data Mastery: Possess proficiency in handling large-scale data within organized and unstructured environments, along with familiarity with data management systems, encompassing both relational and NoSQL, as well as Cloud Systems and Architecture. Version Control: Be well-versed in version control systems such as GitHub. Strategic Mentality: Approach challenges proactively and strategically, underpinned by strong written and verbal communication skills. Adaptability: Embody a curious, flexible, and agile approach, readily adapting to evolving industry trends and technologies. 　　ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

　　Hiring Salary Range: $124,000-$170,000.

　　The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
