Are you looking to help drive impact through quality business insights and analytics for a fast growing, high-impact area of the business? The Global Sourcing Data team is just the place. Our team performs a critical role in partnering with Sourcing teams across strategic business areas including Food, Consumables, Health & Wellness. This Manager position will manage and oversee a broad range of critical financial activities including financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and business analytics. In this role, you will partner to identify key sourcing opportunities and investment decisions to help deliver annual and long-range plans, while influencing and leading new ways of working both within finance and with our business partner teams.
This role will specifically support our efforts to ensure a solid data foundation for the businesses we support, building tools / reporting to enable the finance team to manage business performance more effectively as well as partner with the product team to ensure future tools being built support the long term ambition. This role will need to be comfortable with data, influencing and understand business partner needs, and building of tools / reports in current software eg PowerBI, Dataiku, etc..

You'll make an impact by:
Driving Strategic Analytics - Understanding key sourcing processes, financial/operational metrics, and business goals and objectives to analyze, interpret, and communicate business performance, identify opportunities, and enable strategic investment decisions.
Being a Trusted Advisor - Quickly developing strong and trusting relationships with internal teams. Partner and participate in business strategy discussions and influence key business decisions with informed recommendations leveraging facts and data
Delivering Data Driven Analysis - Sourcing and compiling relevant data; organizing and validating data prior to data analysis; consolidating and identifying exceptions and patterns in data; synthesizing data in the creation of actionable customer insights; and translating information into action plans.
Practicing Continuous Process Improvement - Working across the organization to identify and solve issues with a customer-oriented mindset, bringing new ideas forward and influencing positive change
Gaining An Understanding of Sourcing - Demonstrating ability to learn and keep up to date an understanding of Global Sourcing and new and creative solutions to help the business make the best choices.
Driving a New Way of Working - Advancing our journey to become a more digital and data driven team by utilizing and championing data visualization tools to drive the business and educating our stakeholders to promote adoption
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years' experience conducting mathematical or statistical research, analysis and modeling intelligence, corporate security, or related area OR 4 years' experience conducting mathematical or statistical research, analysis and modeling intelligence, corporate security, or related area
Experience with Tableau, PowerBI or similar data visualization tools, Dataproc | Spark | Hive or similar data processing tools, Dataplex | Collibra or similar data governance tools, Google Cloud Platform
Experience with large dataset mining tools and open-source programming tools (e.g., R, Python, HiveQL, Spark)
Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency
