About this position:
The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team serves as a trusted adviser to the business to help guide decision-making through business partner support and innovative and insightful analyses. The Corporate team runs the Company's short & long term financial planning processes. As a Manager, you will play an integral role leading the corporate team. This role will own the forecasting and strategy of our long range revenue planning. This is a high visibility, high impact role where you will interact with senior leadership on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, forecasting, & guidance for long-range revenue planning process
Develop long-range predictive revenue modeling that incorporates key initiatives, FX analysis, macroeconomic data, and historic trends
Quantify and articulate impact on long-range revenue strategies for key business decisions, including pricing adjustments, acquisitions, new product developments, etc.
Develop a strong understanding of the Salesforce business model and translate the impact of changes in key inputs and business decisions on the Company's topline financials
Monitor trends and provide senior leadership with key insights and recommendations to manage execution risks and opportunities on revenue growth
Drive business process improvements in forecasting process
Curate datasets and build dashboards for data points commonly requested by senior management
Lead & manage ad hoc presentations and strategic analysis for the CFO & Executive leadership
Work closely with key cross-functional partners (short term revenue team, finance business partners, and sales and product strategy etc.) to identify strategies, quantify changes and ensure forecast accuracy
Partner and support broader Corporate F&S team with reviews, processes and ad hoc requests
Required Skills/Experience:
Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on theValues & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
5+ years of work experience in analytically demanding financial or strategic services role
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) with an ability to explain complex issues to executive leadership
Strong modeling skills for developing complex financial analyses and decision support models
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to deal with a fast moving dynamic environment with high degree of ambiguity and constant change
Ability to work cross functionally and influence appropriately
Intellectually curious, fueled by a proactive approach to continuously expand one's skills
Ability to think strategically and operate effectively with management
Highly motivated, proactive, self-aware, collaborative, flexible, responsive and positive
Desired Skills/Experience:
Strong understanding of the SaaS business model and revenue recognition
High tech or software industry experience preferred
Experience with multi-dimensional databases, e.g. Hyperion or other financial systems
Tableau experience preferred
