  Salesforce is hiring a Manager to join our Global Communications team, where they will drive strategic communications for the Salesforce Ecosystem, inclusive of Partners, AppExchange, and Trailhead:

  Salesforce's Partner Ecosystem, which includes consulting partners, digital agencies, independent software vendors, and resellers, is critical to our customers' success.The Salesforce AppExchange is the world's leading online marketplace for enterprise cloud applications. Thousands of Salesforce partners and tens of thousands of Salesforce customers rely on the AppExchange for their continued business success.Trailhead, Salesforce's free online learning platform empowering anyone to thrive in the digital-first world by breaking down barriers to learning with hands-on access to Salesforce skills and technology.

  The ideal candidate is a confident self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values strategic communications, cross-functional collaboration, and results. This position requires excellent writing, organizational, project management, and media skills, and the ability to work with executive management, marketing, and other critical business partners.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Lead all aspects of Salesforce Ecosystem PR program, including developing strategic plans, crafting messaging, leading announcements and product launches, securing media coverage, developing thought leadership, driving partner and customer success stories, and more.Secure a steady drumbeat of top-tier media coverage that articulates the value of our partners and AppExchange. Build and leverage reporter relationships for announcements and proactive storytelling.Drive content strategy and author press releases, Newsroom posts, executive thought leadership, partner and customer success stories, and more.Collaborate with the PR team to proactively find opportunities to highlight Partners and AppExchange across broader corporate and product news and thought leadership.Partner with International Comms to ensure Partner PR program can be leveraged and scaled globally.Drive partner press release approvals, and develop, edit and approve partner-related blog posts, partner communications, and more.Provide strategic communications counsel to executives and business partners, meeting with them regularly to drive alignment.Measure and analyze press coverage to advise PR strategy and planning, reporting results back to stakeholders.Lead PR agency teams, ensuring they deliver on core objectives.Develop relationships with external partners.Work across global PR to support company-wide campaigns and events (e.g., Dreamforce, TrailblazerDX, etc.).

  Requirements:

  6+ years of experience working in a corporate communications setting (PR agency experience is a plus)Strong media relations skillsExcellent writing, editing, and project management skillsStrong executive presence; able to hold a "seat at the table" alongside other areas of the businessAbility to thrive in fast-paced environments and calm under pressure, with outstanding judgmentSkilled at managing up and prioritizing; flexible and able to manage multiple projects with minimal directionCollaborative and team-oriented; thrives in building relationships and working cross-functionally

  For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $120,300 to $180,500.

  For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $120,300 to $180,500.

  Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
