About Manager, Communications Strategy and Execution for Corporative Initiatives

  The Manager, Communications Strategy and Execution for Corporative Initiatives will be responsible for leading, managing and executing communications strategy and planning for key corporate initiatives that'll raise brand awareness, inform, educate and influence internal and external audiences. The person in this role needs to be able to respond to needs in a fast-paced environment while also proactively planning to develop and manage ambitious and growing corporate initiatives that are evolving as rapidly as we are.

  This includes partnering to develop and implement communication strategies as well as crafting high-quality content and building out sales enablement tools and training materials. The individual will foster an environment of collaboration and work closely with company executives, subject matter experts and other stakeholder to understand needs. They will then strategically build out well-designed measurable campaigns with clear and effective content and materials that align with larger operational strategies and simplify complex content so that key messages clearly resonate with the audience and drive engagement.

   RESPONSIBILITES :Manages the strategy and execution of GEICO's key corporate initiatives to develop those programs and meet business needsCollaborates with business partner to research and translate complex concepts into well-crafted memorable and emotionally relevant contentBuilds communications and materials that meet specialized needs while ensuring a singular, compelling brand message across any medium, including internal and external channels.Positions and optimizes resources and processes to deliver high quality resultsManages and provides leadership to a small team of Communication Specialists and supports other business partners to meet project and business needs.Manages plan items and establishes programs and campaigns that meet objectives and drive initiatives forward in a meaningful way Tracks and reports out on progress of programs and campaigns. Generates steady supply of ideas to creatively meet business needs in new and profound ways Demonstrates understanding of GEICO's business and industry. Adheres to GEICO Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principlesMeets attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and co-workers.REQUIREMENTS:Must have the following education or experience:Bachelor's degree required, degree focus in English, journalism, communications, public relations, related field is preferred or relevant years of experience5+ years of experience developing and executing communications and brand strategiesExcellent writing skills and a strong ability to communicate ideas and concepts creatively and conciselyPassion for finding new and creative ways to reach an audienceAbility to work across teams and departments in a highly collaborative wayStrong project management skills; can juggle and organize multiple prioritiesMust be able to manage direct reportsMust be able to, with or without accommodation, perform the essential functions which include, but are not limited to seeing, hearing, typing, and speakingMust be able to work both independently and in a team environmentMust be able to multi-taskMust be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural informationMust be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writingLOCATION:Hybrid - 3 days/weekPreferredDC areaChicago, ILCleveland, OHTravel 10%Events and meetings#LI-MA1
